Craving some convenient & delicious Thai Bangkok street food in the Don Muang district? At Talad Mai Don Muang (Don Mueang New Market อาหารตลาดใหม่ดอนเมือง) you will find a variety of delicious, inexpensive Thai Bangkok street food. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▶ Part 3: Don Muang (Bangkok) Street Food Series --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Thai Bangkok street food area is located across the main highway from the ✈ Don Mueang Airport, and about a 10 minute walk from the Amari Don Muang Airport Hotel (down the road on Choet Wutthakat Road). If you have a long layover, you could take a short taxi ride. Although this market also sells clothes, cosmetics, and a lot of other items, we will focus on showing you the street food outside available at Talad Mai Don Muang (Don Mueang New Market). They also have a 7-11 and Cafe Amazon for your convenience. You will find mostly Thai locals frequenting Don Mueang New Market อาหารตลาดใหม่ดอนเมือง, as it is a convenient area for grabbing food on-the-go. Also some of the Don Mueang Airport staff will occasionally grab a bite to eat here. The covered area where we ate is located right cross the 711 on the corner. Approximate operating hours are 5 am to 11 pm daily. They have a variety of Thai street food to choose from, ranging from Thai noodles, pad thai, Thai stir fry dishes, Thai soups, and many more. Prices are very reasonable, ranging on average from 30 to 50 baht ($0.86 to $1.43 USD) per dish, depending on what you buy. There is a vendor that sells Isan food (BBQ grilled pork and sticky rice) that is shown in the video. But usually have to get there before 8 am because she sells out quickly.
