I apologise if I didn't test a specific noise source that you may be contending with in your home! There are so many different noise sources, I decided to focus on some of the most common or extreme examples. However, I think my results can be extended to other noisy situations. For example, if you have noise like people talking relatively quietly, television, or radio in another room, most of them should help. But if they are very thin walls, and the noise is louder, you may need one of the four loudest machines - the Snooz Breez, Pro, and Original, or the Yogasleep Dohm Nova. If it's very loud laughing, shouting during a sports or video game, for example, the top four are also more likely to be needed (or headphones and earplugs). With animals and sudden noise, like barking dogs, planes, pots and pans clattering, DIY, mowing, the loudest might be the answer. But even they may not be enough if it's extremely loud, and some noise might still get through. Still, they should help reduce the amount you hear by masking most of it with their constant fan sound.
