Does your older avocado tree lack fruit production? It could be due to an iron deficiency. I have a DIY solution that my cousin, who owns an avocado farm in Puerto Rico, shared. After Hurricane Maria, many of his trees ceased production. He recommended this method, which I applied to my mother's tree. Within two years, she had a bountiful avocado harvest, and the yield has increased annually since. I also used this method on my own tree, and it produced avocado blossoms.
