About the Speaker: Natalie Marnica Title: Certified Yoga Therapist Company: Sacred Mountain Yoga Company Website: https://www.smyoga.ca/ Natalie Marnica, CYT, is a certified yoga therapist with over 1,000 hours of training and more than a decade of teaching experience. She founded Sacred Mountain Yoga to make movement and wellness accessible to everyone. Through her business, Natalie offers Chair Yoga & Mobility classes, private one-to-one movement and strength coaching (including Steel Mace work), workshops, and virtual seminars tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients. For 18 years, Natalie was a caregiver to her mother, who had Huntington’s disease. This experience shaped her compassionate and practical approach to teaching, giving her a deep understanding of the physical and emotional challenges faced by those living with chronic conditions and their caregivers. Natalie’s personal journey with yoga began after a traumatic car accident left her in a cycle of chronic pain and stress. Yoga became her lifeline, helping her break free from pain, rebuild her physical strength, and cultivate emotional resilience. Over the years, yoga has also helped Natalie navigate major depression, anxiety, and the challenges of growing up in a family impacted by Huntington’s disease. Through her teaching, Natalie shares the tools that have transformed her own life, offering others hope, strength, and a path toward greater well-being. Her lived experiences allow her to connect deeply with her students, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.
