'Congress has failed' Parkland survivor endures second shooting at Brown, demands action

“I’m numb, but I’m also really angry,” said Brown University sophomore Zoe Weissman, a survivor of the 2018 Parkland High School shooting. At least two people were killed, and nine others were injured during the shooting Saturday afternoon on Brown’s campus in Providence, Rhode Island, according to city officials. Seven of the injured were listed in critical condition at Rhode Island Hospital. Officials said ten of those shot were students, and the shooting happened inside a classroom, according to reports. For Weissman, the chaos and fear surrounding the shooting were hauntingly familiar. "It feels like I'm 12 again, and I think it feels like it's 2018 again for my family as well," Weissman told CNN.
