Jim Mulligan | President’s Award for Community Leadership 2026 NAIOP Colorado Commercial Real Estate Honors At the 2026 Colorado Commercial Real Estate Honors, NAIOP Colorado proudly presented the President’s Award for Community Leadership to Jim Mulligan. A member since 1997, Jim served on the NAIOP Colorado Board of Directors from 2001 to 2008 — including as Public Policy Chair, Treasurer, Programs Chair, and Chapter President in 2007. During his presidency, the Chapter launched the Developing Leaders program, welcoming 50 new members in its inaugural year. Today, Developing Leaders represent more than one-third of NAIOP Colorado’s membership — a lasting legacy of his leadership. Jim’s impact extends well beyond the Chapter. With deep expertise in finance and public-private partnerships, he has helped shape critical public policy discussions while strengthening economic development, housing, higher education, and civic initiatives across Colorado. He also served on the NAIOP Corporate Board from 2013 to 2017. This award honors a career defined not only by professional achievement, but by engagement that elevates both industry and community.
