Been a while, eh? Sorry about that. Anyways, here's a showcase of some of the new things that I've worked on. Haven't posted too much as a lot of the work that has been done isn't really stuff that makes for a good video... Lots of behind-the-scenes stuff like fixes & minor physics updates. Sadly, like with some cars before, because these night-time models for these are done by hand via hex-editing, some of them aren't exactly 100% accurate to the real thing, but they'll have to do for now. Many of the cars that were added are either different specs of cars than in GT4 or have different colour options, like the returning GT2 car '98 Prelude SiR, and the Alpine & Beetle have unique colours as well. It's nice that they have something unique about them. Other changes I can mention that I didn't show, cars that originally were carburetted can now have EFI-Conversion kits in place of the ROM Tuning, this produces extra power for those cars (and is a bit more costly.) Also, as a little extra added realism, cars now have increased tire wear on sand/grass, simulating the tires getting dirty and "damaged". This will encourage clean driving more. The engine part system has also been revamped, now the program that originally generated the new NA/Turbokit parts generates all of the engine parts for cars, taking into account the engine specs. Additionally, events are getting a sort of rework again, they were previously rather rushed for the December Proto release. The design behind the current A.I parameters aim to make the A.I dive hard into corners, while taking caution on corner exits. This should make them faster on average than before. And, for anyone interested, like I mentioned, there was a prototype release of the project in December that you can play, available from the Discord servers releases section. There's not yet another update to the prototype, I'm waiting on making significant progress in events. Also, there's still more new cars to come and they are a bit of work to do. PS. Sorry, the video came out of the editor in a rather low quality I feel. • Credits • Pez2k - A variety of modding tools used, like GT3VOLExtractor. Sal_89/Seban - Help & research!
