Ride to Killar from Gulabgarh. Starting the day in a freezing ₹500 room in Gulab, I thought the hardest part was over. I was wrong. The plan was to ride 250 km to Manali, but the Himalayas had other plans. About this Episode: In this vlog, I leave the Buddhist settlement of Gulab (-7°C!) and head toward the infamous Killar in Pangi Valley. The roads are empty for a reason. Between the slippery slush, steep inclines, and active rockfalls ("Don't fall, Mr. Rock!"), this turned into one of the most challenging days on the bike. I also encounter some local hospitality—an old man offering food and good times—and realize that reaching Manali by nightfall is impossible.
