This video will focus the contributions of traditional Native American music to early American music: Black American + Native American Music = Birth of American Music. Some Musical Historians often point out that when the West African polyrhythms merged with the Native American Four on the Floor, this became the foundation of early American music, which later evolved into today's many musical genres in the United States and Canada. Traditional Native American melodies, chants, humming, rhythm, beats, singing, flute, drumming, rattles, musical stick clapping, hand clapping, four on the floor, and other musical styles did have influence on most early American music such as blues, folk, Old Negro spirituals, Southern music, Creole and Cajun music. A unknown story to many, but the various Native American stomp dance and social dance songs of the American Southeast and Northeast have had a influential impact on Old Negro spirituals, early folk music, early blues as well as early Southern, Creole and Cajun music just to name a few genres. Also the Native drum beats from the American Southwest to the Northeast, and the Northern plains drum and flute can also be found in early American music. In fact, the merger of traditional African, early Black American and traditional Native American music gave birth to American music. Not to mention that Indigenous and Mestizo Latino Immigrants also gave some contributions to early American music with their various sophisticated rhythms, beats and instrumental sounds. #NativeAmericanMusic #BlackAmericanMusic #AfricanMusic #TraditionalMusic #BluesMusic #FolkMusic #OldNegroSpirituals #StompDanceMusic #SocialDanceMusic #Southeast #NativeAmericanFlute #NativeAmericanDrums #AfricanDrums NativeAmericanBeats #NativeAmericanInfluence #NativeAmericanContributions #BlackAmericanContributions #SlaveMusic #WhoInfluencedAmericanMusic #WhoInfluencedBluesMusic #FBA #CulturalApropriation #Cherokee #Choctaw #Creek #Seminole #Chickasaw #Mohawk #Tuscarora #Iroquois #LakotaFlute
