Check out my guide for the fight :    • Madoka Exedra - Mermaid Witch Boss guide (...   I tried using a team as F2P as possible but Homura is my only damge dealer with enough investment so I couldn't swap her out, and I used my other 5 stars as support. Some of the portraits I used can only be obtained after this fight but It shouldn't have impacted the fight much. Himika, despite being a 4 star might be the best choice, her action delay is an absolute godsend for this fight (Her Ascension 1 make her go before the boss at the start of the fight, if you don't have it the boss will still get 1 SPD buff which make things more complicated). Ren missed her ailment application a few times but she increases the damage taken by the boss so much that I was able to kill it in one break. Hanna was horrible but I managed to push through (her ascension 2 might have helped a bit), she didn't bring anything to the team outside of the curse application. I don't have Felicia so I couldn't test her.
