Seminyak, Bali. Tuesday, 17 February 2026. Today is Lunar New Year (Chinese New Year), and the weather in Seminyak, Bali is pleasantly warm and perfect for a daytime walk. The festive mood can already be felt around town, adding a unique atmosphere to one of Bali’s most stylish beach destinations. We begin our walking tour on Petitenget Main Street, one of the key roads in Seminyak connecting luxury villas, restaurants, and beach clubs. Along the way, we discover a small pathway leading down to Petitenget Beach. Interestingly, the beach is still relatively quiet this afternoon — most visitors usually arrive closer to sunset to enjoy the famous Seminyak golden hour. From the beach area, we head towards the Petitenget Parking Lot, then continue walking into Kayu Jati Street. This charming street leads us deeper into central Seminyak. At the intersection, we turn right onto Kayu Cendana Street, known for its boutiques and easy access to shopping areas. Next, we enter Seminyak Village Mall, where we browse unique antique items and souvenirs. In celebration of Lunar New Year, the mall is beautifully decorated with traditional Chinese lanterns, creating a festive and photogenic setting. After exploring the mall, we step into Seminyak Square, a compact shopping and dining complex filled with restaurants and souvenir stores. From there, we continue towards Kayu Aya Street, famously known as Eat Street. Eat Street is one of the most iconic roads in Seminyak, stretching from the northern side near Sunset Road down towards Petitenget Beach. This vibrant street is packed with clothing boutiques, shoe stores, tattoo studios, restaurants, bars, hotels, and all kinds of tourist facilities that define the Seminyak lifestyle. This Seminyak walking tour during Lunar New Year showcases a mix of beach atmosphere, festive decorations, shopping spots, and culinary hotspots. If you’re planning a Bali holiday around Chinese New Year, Seminyak offers a stylish and lively experience with a tropical twist. Thanks for walking with us in Seminyak, Bali :))
