The Balkan Detour Part 3. A Land Rover Series One Adventure.

Setting off from our overnight camp in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿, we head southeast into Austria 🇦🇹 where “Frank” the 109” LWB lost a couple of gears. After putting shoutouts on social media, just incase anyone nearby had a spare gearbox, we pressed on through Vienna towards Hungary 🇭🇺. James doing a sterling job with not many gears in Frank. After crossing the border we headed towards the Danube to find some trails on its banks including some that had not been driven in some time. From there we drove some terrible tarmac roads to find our campsite was closed. A quick search found a decent hotel nearby with restaurant attached for some schnitzel and beers.
