Custom Telescope Case

Follow along as I spend a few days building this custom telescope case with brass hardware. Using half a sheet of 1/2 plywood is a cost effective way to protect a telescope from damage and moisture which can harm optics. Cases are often available from retailers, but they are often very expensive to buy! This case was custom built to fit a 90mm Celestron telescope using the original packing foam.   You can easily adapt this project to fit your telescope or anything else you want to protect.
