2023 is coming to an end, and if you have been following along with the channel this year, then first of all, I want to say THANK YOU for your support! Secondly, you also know that it has been a great year of fishing here at Cross Country Bank Angler! We've explored new areas, encountered new species of fish, tried out new rigs, techniques, and equipment, and managed to land a few big ones along the way. To round off the year I am going to look back at what I believe are my top five lures from 2023. While there are always going to be some old standbys, there always seems to be some variation each year in what lures seem to work best. I choose these lures based on several criteria, such as the enjoyment/excitement of fishing the lure and how reliably it has been able to work.
