If you dont want to make it yourself, you can find this belt in my etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/71934732... Of course also other closures and webbings are possible. 0:00 Introduction 0:05 Design Thoughts 1:23 Sewing the Belt 7:10 Endcard Featuring 1'' polyester webbing, which has a nice structured look but is more flexible than the usual (ballistic) nylon webbing used in combat belts and military belts, this one is a very simple and minimalistic belt. I specifically was bothered by the thickness of the Arcteryx Converyr Belt's buckle, and wanted a belt that fits perfectly underneath the buckle of my backpack's hip belt. The simplest solution with an actual buckle was a simple G-hook tension lock closure. Through using an anodised aluminium g-hook, I could use a hard-wearing and lightweight material. The only thing I still want to change in this design is the orientation of the hook - but for this I have to buy customised hardware, and this will be possible next year, I hope. I am preparinng a few other belt designs, inspired by other makers, experimenting with materials like leather and cloth, and with different closure mechanisms. -------------------------------- INTEL: General Intel: Soft but strong belt with a Tension Lock closure. Buckle: Anodised Aluminium G-hook tension lock closure - slim and unobtrusive. Available in Black, Red, Grey and Silver. Strap secured with velcro. Webbing: 1" Heavy Duty Polyester Webbing - soft but strong. Solid Construction: all seams on load carrying points are stitched multiple times. The fabric loop holding the buckle while wearing is stitched with a box-x-stitch, which is very secure. Weight: 155 g / 5,5 oz (the buckle itself only weighs 30 g / 1 oz) Width: 2,5 cm / 1" -------------------------------- Music: Dominic from Caffeine Chamber was kind enough to compose a few tracks for me, which I am allowed to use in my videos.
