In today’s video we are going to go over how to make the rear hand look like the rear leg. Have you ever fought an opponent whose stance is opposite of yours and freeze up? Sometimes it can be hard to tell if the left leg is coming or the left hand. I know all too well because I've suffered at the hands of this. In this video, I'll explain why it's hard to tell the difference between the rear kick and rear hand, and we will go over in detail how to disguise your rear hand as your rear kick. I recently fought a southpaw fighter from Bangkok named Rungrawee in EM Legend. I won the first fight, and he beat me in the rematch via a close split decision. While he didn't have a huge arsenal, he had a really hard left kick. Since he was skilled at disguising the straight as the rear kick, this posed way more issues and made the fight much more difficult than it would've otherwise been. Try this out in sparring and see if this technique gives your sparring partner problems. I'm joined by my teammate and UFC #9 Flyweight Kai Kara France at City Kickboxing.
