I had the awesome opportunity to talk to the guys at SYIL "Sigh-EEL" at IMTS 2022. These machines have been on my radar as someone who is very interested in a Mini-Mill size machine for the garage shop but slightly cheaper possibly on the price scale. The X5 and X7 seem to be pretty awesome little machines. I have to admit I was a little more partial to the X5 after talking to these guys. A few thousand dollars cheaper and quite a bit faster on the tool changes and cutting speed it caught my eye. The SYIL guys are also SUPER cool and open to configure a machine exactly how the buyer wants it. Lots of options and the ability to run these as 5 axis machines with a trunnion or a 4th axis rotary.
