Jenny Ahlstrom was diagnosed with multiple myeloma at 43. At the time, she had just moved her family to Monterrey, Mexico and blamed her symptoms on exhaustion from the move. After her diagnosis, she underwent a tandem transplant. But years later, her cancer came back. In today’s conversation, she shares her experience of undergoing CAR T-cell therapy, why she chose to be a part of three clinical trials and what questions every patient should be asking their doctor.
