12-fret dreadnought in traditional mahogany with a torrefied Sitka spruce top. Huge and beautiful of voice, wonderfully responsive. 2016 is the 100th anniversary of Martin's revolutionary dreadnought design, originally designed and build for the Ditson musical instrument shops, which went out of business in the Great Depression, allowing Martin to sell dreadnoughts under their own brand for the first time in 1931. This model was inspired by the Ditson 222 model, but with an upgrade to the fancier fret markers of their top of the line 333. All music composed and performed by T.S. Phillips and used with permission, except "For A'That," a 17th Century Scottish folk tune in the public domain. This video is the companion to the written review at onemanz.com
