200 Riders vs Zero XE // Electric Sprint Enduro Racing

We took the new Zero XE electric dirt bike back to the races—this time at the Black Hills Sprint Enduro, where we lined up with nearly 200 riders for a dusty morning race with 6 test sections through the Southern Colorado terrain. After racing this same bike at the Biltwell 100, we wanted to see how it stacked up in a more traditional enduro format. I thought I won the electric class... but turns out there were only two of us, and I got 2nd. Still, I ended up finishing 6th overall out of 200, and the Zero XE delivered an impressive performance once again. We alternated between two different loops, Test A being 3 miles and Test B being 5 miles, for a total of 24 miles. We swapped battery halfway through the race and documented the percentage throughout.
