Twitch: / thedreamcastguy Outside of a flurry of Twitter posts and replies when she was announced as the new Microsoft Gaming CEO, Asha Sharma went quiet the next few days as the internet, perhaps not-unexpectedly, tore through her gaming history and statements and tweets thus far. Now, she’s back responding to an IGN article talking about her being accused of using AI to tweet, and criticisms about her recently-made Xbox account and relatively little playtime. Here’s Sharma responding to IGN’s Ryan McCaffrey in her first tweet in three days: “I agree. Faking would be a terrible idea and wouldn’t work. I also didn't expect my gamertag to blowup and the reality is more boring. I created it recently to learn and understand this world. I’ve played with my family, and it’s a shared home account across devices (which you can see in the range of games /achievements). Fixed that this weekend and everyone is only playing on their own GTs.” “But I get where this is coming from. I don’t pretend to be the best gamer and even though I’m playing, that’s still not my goal. My focus is to make Xbox the best place to play, return to our roots, ship great things, and become stronger for the future.” “And yes, I’m writing my own posts :)” It's been Decade since i last heard a Xbox head say "return to our roots" don't want any platform to fail but it all depends how you execute it and not empty words also IGN is trash site, there much better smaller gaming sites that should supported. New Xbox CEO responds to comments on her background not being in gaming: "My focus is to make Xbox the best place to play, return to our roots, ship great things, and become stronger for the future."
