Took a mini vacation to Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN to check out the systems there. To say I left there impressed is an understatement. I loved how organized the rush hour is there. And loved vast the transit system is. My main reason for going out there was to mainly catch the New Flyer D60HFs before they retire. Needless to say I achieved that and much more Anyways, here is public transportation around the Twin Cities. Agencies include Metro Transit (Minneapolis), MVTA (Minnesota Valley Transit Authority), SouthWest Transit, Maple Grove Transit, and Plymouth Metrolink. Gilligs dominate the region mostly, but you’ll find a BUNCH of different MCIs, New Flyer D40LFs and Xcelsiors, and the rare D60HFs. Locations were filmed mostly downtown along Nicollet Mall and Marquette Ave with some other locations occasionally. If you haven’t visited the twin cities, you’re missing out. Trust me. Enjoy.
