Jupiter Hell is basically Doom in a turn-based, strategic roguelike (DoomRL reloaded, essentially). It's awesome. It's also voiced by the voice actor from Mass Effect who does Shepard in a hilarious, 1980s-90s Doom style. It's a great time, but it is also quite challenging. In this complete beginners guide to Jupiter Hell, I will explain to you the basics from the ground up by starting a brand new game so you can watch and even play along. I will explain the controls, the UI, the mechanics, how to fight, upgrade, and explore the map. I detail my thought process, sharing tips and tricks along the way but I spoil nothing about the game or the story.
