Ownership Review and accuracy at 50 yards. I am hoping to take a Whitetail Deer with my Taurus Model 44 Revolver this fall. But first I need to shoot it at a little further distance than I am used to. I haven't fired this handgun alot and not past around 20-25 yards. I did take a Black Bear with it this fall, however. In this video I will do a quick overview on the Revolver and then I will attempt some shots at 50 yards. I am satisfied with this "Wheelgun" even though it is not a "fancy" revolver. It does what it is designed to do. The .44 Magnum is a great caliber for deer, bear and other large game at close ranges.
