SOLO BACKPACKING The Pacific Crest Trail Section K | BACKPACKING SOLO FEMALE | PCT 2021 // Ever wondered what backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail in Washington is like? In August 2021, I left to hike Section K along the PCT northbound (NoBo) solo, from Stevens Pass to Rainy Pass for 7 days. I parked my car at the trailhead at Stevens Pass and headed north on the Pacific Crest Trail, by myself with 6.5 days’ worth of food and all of the backpacking gear I’d need for my trip. Over the next 7 days and 127 miles, I’d hike and camp by myself along the PCT, heading towards the Stehekin Bakery and then ending my PCT section hike at Rainy Pass where my friends would pick me up.
