A little background on my 1956 Chevy Wagon. I picked this car up in the fall, previously it had been pillaged through as a parts car. So it was missing all sorts of little odds and ends. The main thing stripped from the car was the interior. Column, switches, sun visors and all of the original wiring. These tri five Chev's (55-57) have a very very simple wiring harness that is easily replaceable with an aftermarket unit. I picked the cheapest 12 circuit harness I could find from Speed Way Motors to replace the original harness. With a few simple hand tools (test light, multimeter, crimper) and a original wiring diagram ANYONE car re-wire a classic car. This car is so basic that any other classic car would have the exact same base wiring harness. So this is a good place to start and you can always add more for all your fancy options like A/C, power windows, power door locks ect. Hopefully this can shed some light on your future hot rod wiring needs. Thanks for watching! Don't forget to click the bell. Check out the MURch: https://teespring.com/stores/dd-speed...
