Dehisce Linomation Carving - Hand Carved Animation

This is a project for "The Art of Lost words" http://www.textgallery.info I chose the Word Dehisce from a list of Lost words. The Definition for that word is: (biology) release of material by splitting open of an organ or tissue; the natural bursting open at maturity of a fruit or other reproductive body to release seeds or spores or the bursting open of a surgically closed wound This Printed Linomation (Hand carved Animation using Linoleum prints), was done using 296 individual pieces of carved Linoleum which are 10cm squared each. its made to a loop so it can go on forever! for youtube i decided to loop it three times to show the gist of the looping. my friend Adam Dedman itscallingme.com created the sound for the Linomation Tn Lawrence ( http://www.lawrence.co.uk/ ) Helped me out very much with this animation. and i am very grateful to them! they provided me with enough linoleum for 180 pieces!!!.. due to the nature of the project!!! They are the guys i buy a majority of my equipment from, very efficient service! so other then the sound all was created by me "Mark Andrew Webber" took me around 500 hours.
