This 2008 Yamaha Zuma YW50AP Was purchased by me brand new in 2008 and I sold it and repurchased it twice. So this is the third time owning this fun little bike. In this episode I will rebuild the carburetor on this bike and try to make it run right. The Yamaha Zuma started in 1989 (CW50) as a rugged, two-stroke 50cc scooter, gaining fame for its performance potential and "bug-eye" looks in its popular second generation (YW50, early 2000s). Yamaha introduced the larger, four-stroke Zuma 125 in 2009, and in 2012, shifted the 50cc model (Zuma 50F) to a modern, fuel-injected four-stroke engine, moving away from the classic two-stroke. Known for its chunky tires and dual-headlight style, the Zuma evolved from a simple gas sipper to a versatile, dual-sport-inspired scooter, even seeing a redesign for 2022 with advanced tech.
