This is a simple DIY project video to show everyone how to replace their battery on the Chevrolet Silverado. This is for models from 2012 to 2018 and it will work for the 4.2 liter V6 and the V8 models. The truck used for the video is a 2017 Silverado WT. You will need a pair of plyers, screw driver, 10mm wrench or socket, 13mm deep well socket with a long extension, a replacement battery for your specific Silverado pickup truck, the 4.2 liter v6 calls for a battery with 650 cold cranking amps.
