These cookies turn out thick, soft, buttery, and loaded with chocolate chips — just like a bakery! This recipe is perfect for: • make ahead desserts • freezer meal prep • holiday baking • busy families • late night cookie cravings You’ll always have homemade chocolate chip cookies ready in minutes. ✨ Pro tip: Freezing cookie dough actually makes cookies thicker, chewier, and more flavorful because the dough has time to hydrate and develop flavor. Instructions: 1. On the stove top in a small saucepan melt 2 sticks of butter and cook until browned. 2. While the butter is cooking, cube up the other 2 sticks of butter and place in bowl of mixer. Once butter is browned, pour over cubed butter and let rest 5-10 minutes. 3. While that is resting, in a separate bowl combine flour and baking powder. Set aside. 4. Once butter is done resting, add in brown and granulated sugar and using paddle attachment, combine until completely mixed and ‘fluffy’ in texture. 5. Set to low speed and add in eggs and vanilla, combine. 6. Add in flour and baking powder, combine until just mixed. 7. Add in chocolate chips, mix until combined. 8. Using a medium sized scoop, place on tray in a single layer, if need to create a second layer, separate with parchment paper. 9. Place in freezer for at least an hour. 10. Once cookie dough is frozen, place in zip lock bag, use within 3 months. To cook: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F 2. Place cookies on tray lined with parchment paper. 3. Bake for 9-15 minutes (times may vary). Edges should be golden brown when finished. ENJOY! ❤️ #chocolatechipcookies #easydessert #homemade #freezermeals
