Whether you’re looking for a full of energy, hip and enthusiastic party starter or just a simple acoustic ambience setter – look no further – Keanu Harker has it all. Not only is he able to captivate a crowd with his unique voice but he is also a skilled guitarist and songwriter. These skills are utilised on stage, in the studio or when giving back to the youth, as he does annually at Inspired Stages – a program that specialises in giving the youth the intimate experiences with seasoned members of the music industry which is held at GrandWest Casino and Entertainment world. From a very young age, Keanu took avid interest in music – watching his Dad sing and play guitar in church and at home. Keanu, after finishing matric at Belhar Secondary High School, decided to venture into furthering his knowledge in music, having had no prior musical training. He chose Cape Music Institute (headed and founded by Mr. Camilo Lombard) where he graduated in 2015 being The Top Performer. In the same year, he entered the Parow Center Youth Talent search and won the grand prize. Keanu was then chosen as the lead singer of The Pedestrians, an all boy band who plays all over South Africa and is the backing band for The Voice SA season 2 winner – Craig Lucas.
