Citric Acid in Soap / Hard Water Soap Scum Solution

Adding citric acid to your Dish or Laundry soap will help reduce soap scum in hard water, and can even help reduce chances for DOS (Dreaded Orange Spots). The reaction between Citric Acid and Sodium Hydroxide produces Sodium Citrate that acts as a Chelator by binding to the minerals and metals in your water and in the process improves the effectiveness of your soap. This is a lovely zero waste, vegan soap that produces a lot of bubbles with a high cleansing value. It can be used as a dish or laundry soap. #herboil #citricacid #soapscum #hardwater 00:00 Intro 01:20 Why we use Citric Acid 02:25 How Much Citric Acid 05:00 Ingredients Measurement 11:00 IMPORTANT mixing info 17:00 Pour 17:50 Unmolding Citric Acid in soap.
