Harbor Freight Portland 6.5 amp electric telescoping pole saw review. #harborfreight I bought this saw to cut down a fairly large oak tree that was to close to my homes foundation. The Portland Pole Saw was a great bargain after getting it for $50 with a coupon. 6.5 amps of power sure did go through over 8" thick branches without a problem so feel like the power is adequate for my application. The pole saw does extend out to 8ft or so but I mostly had it to about 6 feet of range. I think the saw is great and hope this review helps others making the choice on their purchase.
