First video of the New Year! Make sure to watch in 2160p4K Hey everyone! On an early August Tuesday morning last year, my main motivation to get up at 5:00am and go film this was because of two ridiculously overloaded carts down this street - which you will see one of in the intro. I thought it would be pretty darn entertaining to watch a bin packed with yardwaste over 2 1/2 times its height being dumped into a split truck like this, and surprisingly, this driver was successfully able to do that - so props to him. Also to the kind homeowner for leaving a note to Recology sort of "apologizing" for it. However, that was one of the last stops, so until then, I was able to follow this guy around, collecting split residential, and then hopping on a main road to collect business trash, public litter bins, and apartment walk-ins. Someone else had come through to collect the compost on Irving, which is why he's mostly only grabbing the trash carts. One of the highlights along that road was to film the collection of one of the older Red logo Norcal Toters around here, which are declining in number. Additionally, I thought it was neat to watch this shiny truck smoothly handle various forms of collection in the early sunrise. The second funny bin was a 90 at the library, which had a massively long blind in it, which the driver simply took out and slid into the hopper. Overall, I enjoyed following this truck around for the early hours around 6:00am, and thanks to the driver for allowing me to both film and tip some cans! Thanks for watching, and enjoy the video! Filmed: August 2, 2022 18th and Irving Streets, San Francisco Have a great day!
