Now that my mini-chopper is complete, I'm turning back to the SOHC CB750F cafe racer. In the big pile of parts I bought were a set of rearset foot controls and brackets to fit them on a CB750K. Thing is, I thought they were for a DOHC (79-82) model and figured I'd resell them later. Turns out that they are actually for a SOHC model and should fit my bike! It just requires a little cutting.... The rearset brackets are mean to fit a 69-78 CB750K, whereas I have a 1975 CB750F. There are a number of differences between the two models, the relevant ones today being that the parts of the frame holding the passenger pegs are different - necessitating their removal to fit the rearsets on the CB750F model. This isn't a sponsored video or anything, just my own honest opinion about the parts and the install process to fit them on a bike they weren't really made for. I paid my own money for these parts, so if I thought they sucked, I'd say so.
