"Alunea" is a direct sequel to "The Almanac," picking up right where the song "Beyond Sun and Moon" leaves off. This album is particularly exciting because, while the earlier entries in The Kardashev Mythos explored broad, conceptual themes, the storytelling has become more detailed and focused. In "Alunea," the main character from "The Almanac" encounters a being created in Continuum from Excipio, leading to a deep philosophical exploration of responsibility and duty. Are we bound to the roles we are born into? Is it ethical to bring new life into a world filled with suffering?
