Background The City of Scranton Department of Business Administration is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the procurement of ammunition for the Scranton Police Department. Work Details The contract requires the supply of the following ammunition: Handgun Ammo: 12,000 rounds of Federal HST 124gr +p (9HST3) 45,000 rounds of Federal 124gr FMJ (AE9AP) 223 Rifle Ammo: 19,000 rounds of Federal 64gr PowerPoint Tactical (.223 T223L) 45,000 rounds of Federal 55gr FMJ (.223 AE223) 308 Rifle Ammo: 3,000 rounds of Hornady 308 Win TAP (168 gr ELD Match Tap Precision) 1,000 rounds of Federal 308 (168gr bonded tactical). The City is not interested in any substitutes or alternatives to the requested ammunition. Period of Performance The contract will remain in effect until the satisfactory completion of the project as defined in the Scope of Work and other relevant provisions outlined in this ITB. Place of Performance The ammunition will be delivered to the City of Scranton, specifically to the Scranton Police Department. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience under their current business name. They must also be duly registered with applicable federal, state, or local oversight bodies required to fulfill the scope outlined.
