They’re pesky but harmless, so a little mischief felt fair. A handful of spare seeds I didn’t need anyway became their snack, saving inventory space and keeping everyone happy. Once they knew where I lived, though, it was obvious my camp would never be left alone. A fence quickly moved to the top of the priority list, and construction began between quiet moments of gathering, cooking, and simply watching the sunrise and sunset roll across the landscape. After all that exploring earlier in the series, I made an unexpected discovery: I somehow built my new home right beside my original shipwreck. Back where the journey began. What are the odds? The night brought a Blood Moon… except I had monsters turned off. Instead, it became more of a very enthusiastic and extremely hungry Smolkr gathering. A few more seeds solved the problem.
