Sydney, Australia – The new Sydney Fish Markets is a flagship NSW Government funded project that comes with complex construction challenges for delivery partner, Multiplex, and heavy lift cranage experts, Marr Contracting. Constructing the iconic building on water required collaborative thinking and innovative engineering solutions for installing Marr's three tower cranes which will complete heavy lifts weighing up to 100 tonnes from the water. Marr's cranes working on this project were also one of the first in Australia to use 100% renewable diesel (HVO100). KEY HIGHLIGHTS: •Unique over-water crane installation. •First Infrastructure NSW projects to use Neste 100% renewable diesel (HVO100) •Tower crane solutions for iconic over-water infrastructure construction; and •Engineering solutions for marine and tidal challenges.
