DO NOT Give This Website Your Information! Here's why: You're viewing a home on their website and request additional information. You are assuming that you are talking to the Listing Agent, right? WRONG. They have sold your information to several agents who are paying them for your "lead". Now, an agent reaches out to you, gives you information that you've requested and sets your showing. So, say you don't have an agent you are currently working with. You've just set an appointment with someone who you may not know, and chances are you have no clue about their experience nor their negotiating skills. You've had to sign a Buyer Broker Agreement with this person to be able to view the property, so if you want this property, you have to use them or they have to release you from the agreement (some agents would never). Say you have an agent that you have been working with. You've set up an appointment with a stranger in which is required to have you sign a Buyer Broker Agreement before showing you the property, but there is a twist, you've already signed a Buyer Broker Agreement with your agent. You go through with it and sign to see the house and write an offer. Chances are very high that you are now liable for paying not only the agent's commission that showed you the property, but also your original agent's commission whom you signed a formal Buyer Broker Agreement with. The moral of this story is not to scare you, but to inform you. Stick with the agent whom you know, like, and trust. If you see something you like and want to check out, send it to your agent. Don't request information on this website where they can then sell your information to all the fish in the sea that are waiting for a bite. Use the agent you TRUST!
