What are their favorite toys and games? Do they go to school by bus or by car? Do I have to drive them? Are they allowed to watch TV /listen to music/play video games? What time do they go to bed? Are they calm or energetic kids? Do they have extra activities? Do children take medicine? What happens if I am talking to your kid, and he/she is not behaving well? Am I allowed to give them some time out? Do you have any religion? How do you discipline your kids? What will my schedule be? In the summer, what will my schedule be? What would be the best adjective to describe your family? Could you talk about the schedule? I would like to understand better about the weekdays and weekends. What activities do kids usually do in the summer? What do you expect the aupair to do as a member of the household to help with cleaning? Do you have housekeeper? I would like to understand better about the weekends, how many weekends per month would you need the au pair to work? How far in advance can you give the schedule for these weekends? I need to understand if I could plan a weekend trip in advance. How open are you about being flexible with these weekends? About the holidays, does the aupair work? if yes, all holidays is a workday? What will my salary be per week? I will be honest with you guys, I’m here in USA, I have driving experience in the USA, no longer have homesick and have good lcc’s reference . I already have some plans for my second year, so I am trying to save some money for that. So I would like to ask, are you willing to negotiate the salary? About the food, will I put the food on the grocery list, or would I buy it and then give you the receipt? Will I have curfew? Will I have tv in my room? Are my friends and family members allowed to come over to visit me? When I get past work hours, will the family pay me overtime? Will there be a cell phone I can use? Because I have one cell phone, and it doesn’t work very well. Do they offer other benefits for the au pair (e.g. gym access, credit card for shopping, sim card with unlimited internet, access to Netflix...)?
