https://www.adorama.com Halloween is a great time to shoot photos that are a little bit more spooky and that's exactly what Gavin Hoey does in this video. But this is more then just a BTS video, Gavin takes you through his set-up and lighting, step by step. To create a creepy atmosphere Gavin lights his model with dramatic shadows from hard light sources. He uses a speedlight and a bigger Flashpoint XPLOR400 flash fitted with a honey comb grid to accurately control the light. A green gel and plenty of smoke complete the look.
