Singing exercises to promote speech and language skills for stroke rehabilitation and individuals with language disorders or dysarthria such as those with aphasia, Parkinson's and apraxia of speech. Research has shown that singing can help facilitate speech output in patients with non-fluent aphasia. Music therapy has shown positive effect in Parkinson's disease for motor component, communication, swallowing, breathing and optimizing the quality of life.
