Mom's sandwich, orgrandma's woven scarf. Theneighbor's wineskin; an embracewith a perfect stranger. The gustyrain when walking by the School of Engineering.The woman who, as a child,dreamed with putting on the cleats;and the girl who accomplished thatdream. The last Sunday father andson spent together, not knowing itwould be the last one. The firststolen kiss, surrounded by 80,000eyes. The crest in the sunset at thevery end of a bars street. The cigarsmoked by one but shared by all.The desperate scream, theoverflowing emotion, the runningtears. And the pleasure of pleasures. The ecstasy. The roar of the lion. The "¡A por ellos!" (Goget'em!); the "Beste bat!" (Anotherone!); or the "Athleeeeeetic!" withthe scarves in the wind. The firstchants, short and emphatic.
