15.8 miles kayaking Little Beaver Creek, Columbiana County, OH. From the Pioneer Village in Beaver Creek State Park, OH to the mouth on the Ohio River at Lock #57 Community Park, Ohioville, PA. 1300 CFS 75F Little Beaver Creek is boulder strewn with riffies throughout mixed with some flat water depending on water levels. A few Class I rapids & a single Class II a can be found in the last 12 miles. As well as several good surfing spots. The majority of the paddle goes through pristine wilderness comprised of the State Park, State Forests, & a private nature preserve. The creek is designated as both 'Wild' & 'Scenic' at the State & Federal level. There are a total of 57 hand cut stone locks abandoned back in the mid 1800's to explore along the way. A scenic lock can be found about every mile or so.
