The previous Vibe Machine offered Symmetry and Range trimpots on the side to fully adjust the throb and feel of the pedal, but those two controls are now joined by 3 more, Chorus, Custom and Grit. While in Chorus mode, you can also adjust the depth of the harmonic modulation with the Chorus trim. This affects all frequencies across the sweep and can help the guitar cut through in a live mix. The Grit is tied in with the adjustable output buffer and can really help sweeten up the efffect when used with fuzz or drive. In addition to Normal and Bright modes, the input impedance can now be adjusted freely with the Custom trim, ensuring the Vibe Machine sounds consistent when placed after other buffers. Users can connect an expression pedal for Speed control and use the same jack for an external tap tempo switch from Drybell.
