In this video Clarissa Fedel talks to Ansel James about Particular Risks Analysis and the process to assess each external risk that the aircraft is exposed. Ansel starts explaining what is a particular risk and talks about the main ones as Bird Strike, Wheel and Tire Failure and Uncontained Engine Rotor Failure and mentions the ARP 4761 as a reference for start, explaining the importance of the Particular Risks Analysis in the early phases of the project. Ansel clarifies that some particular risks have specific requirements, some have only to comply with the safety requirement, 25.1309 and others need to comply with a combination of specific requirements and the 25.1309. He also talks about how to address the different types of fires and the main challenges for certification. In the end, Ansel mentions how the complexity, the high integration among systems and the new technologies, can affect the Particular Risks Analysis. You must watch it until the end!
