This is just a video trying to breakdown how I am currently updating my Donor Cars and putting the new plates such as Libtery City and Pounders on them. This is about creating new Donor Cars by combining my original Donor Car and a car that has the item I want to transfer over to it. I am not using magic or creator slots (to my knowledge) to complete these merges. The goal is to do this without using them. I obviously know that this can be done with those slots but that is not what I'm trying to accomplish here. I want to make it clear that I know this has to have been covered before, however I did not come across one while making mine. This is really about me trying to figure out how BEFF Merging works and why the cars come together the way they do. After messing around with this for a while, it does begin making a lot of sense why it works. The problem I face now is learning about the Paint category. I'm trying to see if those are individual components or if they are connected together. Basically I'm trying to figure out Pearlescent. I originally thought that if I put the Pearlescent I wanted to move on a car with Classic Black paint, I could then move it to my donor vehicle. It has been tough trying to understand how the game sees the unselected paints and textures in terms of how I want to use them here. I thought if I followed the roadmap that I laid out here for the plates, that it would carry over to the paints, but it does seem like I am missing something. The Paints are the deepest category so I do understand running into issues here. I think where I'm getting confused is exactly what is happening to the paint when a pearlescent is applied to it. I'm exhausting the possiblities that I can think of here and will have to actually start researching this from more knowledge people. I was just trying to figure this puzzle out on my own because this whole thing has really made understanding the game operations better and that is really fun for me. I hope in the upcoming days that I can sit down and make a more proper tutorial on this process, just please be patient with me. To some this is not new, but to me, I have been giving myself really bad headaches working on it because I never really understood how it worked before. I feel like this whole thing is very manual and broken down to the most basic way it works. Again, this whole thing is fascinating to me, so the adventure is trying to piece what I can together to just try to get an understanding here.
