In this video I'm going to be insulating my new 2019 4x4 Sprinter Van and installing an exhaust fan for a weekend camper build out. I used my van for a lot of different things, moving machinery, doing side jobs, and hauling material. Because of that Im not doing a traditional sprinter conversion build. The first step to this build is to find a way to control the temperature inside the van when sleeping. To do this you'll need to install an exhaust fan and insulate the cabin. Thanks so much to my girlfriend Angela for helping with the headliner and Insulation, this job is way easier with a second set of hands. For the insulation I chose to use Havelock wool. In my opinion, and after reading a bunch of articles comparing products (this one was really informative https://gnomadhome.com/van-build-insu... ) I decided Havelock wool is the best option when it comes to insulating a build like this. After spending some time on the phone with Havelock to understand the properties, they decided to sponsor this video. Thanks Havelock! If your looking to do a similar insulation project, check out the options, and seriously consider using Havelock Wool.
