Juan is a legend among the rank and file of the San Diego Police Department. Juan was an outstanding proactive patrol officer and detective before he was promoted to sergeant. Juan worked numerous proactive assignments as a detective and has worked in the training division for over twenty years. He is a certified instructor and extremely knowledgeable on the use of force implemented by police officers. He is a court expert and a department recognized expert in the use of force and defensive tactics. Tonight Juan is going to breakdown the January 10,2026, incident where a San Diego Police patrol officer is seen on video attempting to handcuff a DV suspect. The officer is seen striking the suspect numerous times in the face with his closed fists. This video has created numerous comments and inquiries by concern citizens questioning the use of force policies. This episode will answer your questions or concerns regarding the use of force deployed by the San Diego Police officer the night of the incident. Our Hosts: Doug Collier is a true legend among the rank and file of law enforcement personnel and agencies whom had the pleasure and honor to work with him. He is known for his tenacity, work ethic, knowledge and outstanding leadership skills. He began his law enforcement career at eighteen years of age with he San Diego Marshalls Office. At twenty one years of age he transferred to the San Diego Police Department where he began his legendary career. Sean Murphy is a retired San Diego Police Department Lieutenant with over thirty two years of law enforcement experience. His expertise throughout his career was SWAT. He spent the majority of his career as a SWAT team member responding to numerous high risk incidents. He was also a team member of the Border Team for several years. The border teams targeted border bandits, smugglers, rapists and predators targeting illegal immigrants crossing the international border. His team was involved in numerous shooting and high risk incidents. Sean retired from the San Diego Police Department as the K-9 Lieutenant overseeing one the nation’s most highly K-P decorated units. Bobby Arce was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He joined the Phoenix Police Department at the age of twenty-one. In March of 2005, he retired after twenty-three years of service. Like all rookie cops, he worked patrol out of the old Sky Harbor Station (now known as Central City Precinct). He was at ground zero for the cocaine/crack cocaine exploitation that hit the U.S. in the early to mid-80s. He worked undercover narcotics, where he started working with a street-level buy unit, and then moved to working primarily multi-ounce heroin and pound/kilo drug buys of cocaine with the DEA. After his retirement he spent three years in Bosnia/Croatia as an organized crime advisor for DOJ. He then moved to Iraq for two years, where he was a commander of a U.S. civilian police training team. His next assignment was in Port au Prince, Haiti, where he ran an anti-kidnapping unit. David is a dedicated and accomplished business owner and retired law enforcement professional with specialized knowledge, and achievement in areas of International Investigations, Intelligence training, Artificial Intelligence in public safety; criminal and domestic investigations. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in intelligence Led Policing, human intelligence gathering, intelligence analytical studies and strategic planning. Extensive knowledge and experience in tracking and apprehending fugitives in foreign countries. Extensive knowledge and expertise in proving counseling, assistance and training for first responders suffering from PTSD and ACIST. David has extensive experience working in partnerships with Mexican law enforcement entities and training in foreign countries.
